Modi invites Hasina to visit India
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina to India.
Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar handed the invitation over to the premier at her official residence-Ganabhaban on Tuesday (August 20).
Later, PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters.
In the letter, as Ihsanul Karim briefed, prime minister was invited to India on a bilateral visit in the 1st week of October. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina thanked Narendra Modi for the invitation.
