Minister Obaidul Quader hospitalised
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital on Sunday morning.
He was taken to the hospital around 7am as he fell sick and admitted to the Cardiology Department of the hospital.
Awami League deputy office secretary Biplob Barua said "Obaidul Quader was kept at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. He underwent an angiogram."
BSMMU director Brig Gen Md Abdullah-Al-Harun said "He had a cardiac arrest. His condition is now stable. He is under our close observation."
