Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque says mental fitness can be significant for cricketers to stay strong in this coronavirus pandemic.
Like different cricketers, Mominul is also passing time at home. He features been focusing on his exercise since cricket matches have already been on keep after March this year.
In a recent interaction with ESPNcricinfo, Mominul said that along with fitness training to keep them fit to play anytime, mental health can be very important to cricketers. He believes mental health offers an athlete the assurance to start well after the game resumes.
“If you are locked in the house for two-three a few months, it is vital to keep mental exercise well. I think you can hold to your health by training for five or six days, but being mentally good is the main factor,” Mominul said.
Bangladesh Test captain also encouraged his teammates to recite the holy Quran, inspirational books or watch motivational movies.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bangladesh’s five series have been postponed. They'll be rescheduled once the circumstance gets better. Mominul said they might not get yourself a breather credited to a whole lot of cricket next time.
