Menon hospitalized with broken leg
DHAKA: Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon has been hospitalized after he sustained injuries in his leg from a fall happened during morning walk.
The incident took place at 7:00 am in front of Menon’s residence on Minto road in the capital on Thursday (July 5).
The minister is now undergoing treatment at the emergency unit of Squire Hospital, said Maidul Islam Pradhan, public relations officer (PRO) of Social Welfare Ministry.
He also said that the minister’s hip joint bone of left leg has been broken and preparation for a surgery is underway.
