Medical team to avoid sale of sick cattle
Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim said a good medical team would work in protecting against the sale of ill and unfit sacrificial family pets for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The minister made the creation joining the inaugural ceremony of the online platform for selling sacrificial animals named ‘DNCC Digital Haat’ through online from his residence at Bailey Highway in the capital.
He as well said the web platform for advertising sacrificial animals is a good timely initiative.
a2we and e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh will collaborate on this online platform for advertising sacrificial animals.
The Livestock Ministry concerned will take note so that sick animals aren't sold at all in the cattle market segments, SM Rezaul Karim said.
Besides, a monitoring crew would work found in coordination with the officers of the ministry concerned, the minister added.
