Massive leak about Samsung Galaxy S10 and foldable Galaxy F surface
With Samsung readying to introduce its 10th anniversary Galaxy S flagship — the Galaxy S10 in the coming months, rumours of this device are flying in thick and fast. The latest titbit comes via a reputable source — SamMobile and they claim to have details regarding the colour variants it will come in and further information regarding its heavily rumoured in-display fingerprint scanner.

They start off by stating that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will launch in February of 2019 and the 5G variant of the device may show up the following month alongside the South Korean tech giant’s foldable smartphone.

The Galaxy S10 will come in three models with the entry-level model being the SM-G970x, while the premium two will feature model numbers — SM-G973x and SM-G975x.

The Galaxy S10 will be available in four colour options — Black, White, Yellow and Green; however, not all colour options will be available in every market the world over. SamMobile goes on to state that some of these colours may be gradient colours and there could be a possibility that all four colours won’t be available at launch. Apart from this, Samsung will also introduce LED Flip and Protective cases for the device.

The website goes on to confirm that this will be the first Galaxy handset to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and the cheapest model of the three will come with 64GB of onboard storage. However, this version will not have an in-display fingerprint scanner which paves way for only the premium versions to feature it. The reason for Samsung not adding an in-display fingerprint scanner on the cheaper 5.8-inch Galaxy S10 is to keep the price of the components down to a minimum.

Lastly, the website states that Samsung foldable smartphone which they demoed recently at the recently concluded developers conference will feature the model number — SM-F900U. This handset is expected to feature 512GB on internal storage and will be available in two colour variants — Black and Silver.
