Smartphone with four cameras from Samsung this year?
It appears that Samsung will not be satisfied by just aping Huawei and launching a smartphone with a ripple-rear camera; instead, the brand is now rumoured to be upping the ante and will launch a smartphone with four rear sensors.
As per a tweet by Ice universe, the serial Samsung leakster, the South Korean brand is readying to launch a smartphone with quadruple sensors.
In a related report by GSMArena, this smartphone will not feature in the Samsung’s Note series or S series and not even from their rumoured Galaxy F series which is said to be the brand’s foldable smartphone.
As of now, it is unclear as to which series this handset will feature in as Ice Universe has not revealed any further details. However, GSMArena posits that it should be from the brand’s A series and it the phone they think will have it is the A9. The A series handsets are usually unveiled in the previous year and go on sale at the beginning of the year.
The report goes on to state, “Since the current A-series have dual front cameras it's not hard to imagine that the next gen will also pack dual rear ones as they often inherit Galaxy S flagship features.”
