Maradona's doctor seeks out prosecutors
The physician of Diego Maradona on Monday searched for the prosecutors who are investigating his treatment of the past due Argentine soccer superstar before he passed away last week, but was turned away because he is not charged with a crime.

The probe into Maradona's death prompted prosecutors to find the home and office of Dr. Leopoldo Luque on Sunday. They took medical data files but did not fee him or declare what prompted the investigation. Luque has since eliminated on a press offensive.

He has done comprehensive press interviews and allow media know he'd appear at the district attorney's office in the Buenos Aires suburb San Isidro, which is conducting the probe.

Luque appeared at the office to provide a statement but he was not allowed to do as a result "because he is not formally charged," his lawyer, Mara Digiuni tweeted. Maradona, considered one of the best players ever before, died from a coronary attack at age 60.

Members of Maradona's spouse and children have said his loss of life was first avoidable and his legal professional told reporters a delay found in the arrival of the ambulance to have Maradona to a healthcare facility on the day he died amounted to "criminal idiocy".

Maradona became a global superstar and achieved semi-divine status at home after leading Argentina to triumph in the 1986 World Glass. He struggled with habit in recent years.

"Diego was tired, sick and tired of being 'Maradona'", Luque told reporters on Sunday.
