Man rescued alive after 12 hours; Drives continue
The divers of Fire Services and Civil Defence have rescued a guy alive after 12 time as a release capsized in the River Buriganga that kept 32 dead.

The survivor is Sumon Bepari, 35, a trader from Munshiganj, Fire Provider and Civil Defence Director Standard Brig Gen Sazzad Hossain confirmed the media on Monday night.

He was rescued around 10pm.

Sumon might have been able to breathe because weather pockets are manufactured sometimes when a vessel turns ugly, the DG said.

The rescue drive is also on on Tuesday, said Fire service headquarters control room duty officer Rassel Shikder around 8:30am. He said no person is rescued through the overnight drives.

Munshiganj-bound launch 'Morning Bird' with over 100 passengers up to speed capsized in the river Buriganga at Sadarghat just after being hit another vessel 'Moyur-2' around 9:33am in Monday.

A number of passengers were able to swim ashore, but many drowned.

Total 32 bodies were recovered from the river till Monday. 32
