Malaysia foreign minister in Dhaka
Malaysia's Foreign Minister Saifuddin Bin Abdullah arrived here on Saturday (July 6) noon, in response to invitation from his Bangladesh counterpart Dr AK Abdul Momen.
On his 3-day official tour, Saifuddin Bin Abdullah is set to sit for a bilateral meeting with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen at Padma Bhaban on July 7, ministry sources said.
Besides, there is a possibility of a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He will pay a visit to Rohingya Camps in Cox’s Bazar. This is his first official tour in Bangladesh after taking charge as foreign minister.
Saifuddin Bin Abdullah is expected to engage in meetings on various levels. The discussions will include Rohingya issue, sending workers to Malaysia, cooperation on trade and so forth, sources said.
After wrapping up his tour, the minister will return to his country on July 8.
