Madrasah student killed in bus accident
A madrasah student was crushed under the wheels of a bus in city's Gulshan area on Thursday morning.
Deceased Atiqul Islam, 11, a student of Haji Abdur Sattar Madrasah, was the son of Md Shahidullah of Mymensingh.
The victim's elder brother Amanullah said a bus ran over Atiqul when he with some other students were crossing the road at Norda at about 6am on their way to home, leaving him injured.
Critically wounded Atiqul was rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital. Later, shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital following deterioration of her condition where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
