Loy Krathong Festival in Radisson Blu Dhaka Dec 6, 7
In collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy, Radisson Blu Dhaka will host a Loy Krathong Festival at its poolside on 6th and 7th of December.
The events will be supported by classical dancers flown in from Thailand. Mesmerizing dance performances will include traditional, regional dances by the Maliwan Dance Troupe, according to a press release issued in this regard.
Highlight of the evening will be the celebration of Loy Krathong Festival where guests can light up candles on a flower decorated Krathong to float them in the hotel’s Water Garden Pond.
On the culinary side, an array of authentic dishes will be offered in form of a dinner buffet from the four main regions of Thailand including provinces from Central, Northern, Southern and Isan Regions. A barbecue grill will offer fresh king prawns, grilled squid, red snapper as well as Thai satay sticks.
The Festival will be inaugurated by the Thai Ambassador to Bangladesh, Her Excellency Arunrung Phothong Humphreys and her husband Liam Jackson Humphreys. Background jazz music composed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej will be played to complement the events.
To add further excitement to the festivities, guests attending the buffet will be able to win exciting raffle draw prizes!
