Listed 'drug dealer' killed in gun-battle
An alleged drug dealer was killed in a gun-battle with the members of Rapid Action Battalion in Chauddogran upazila of Cumilla early Wednesday.
With this, the number of deaths stood at 212 across the country since May 12.
Deceased Farruque, a listed drug trader, was the son of Momtaj Uddin, a resident of Ramray area.
Chauddogran Police Station OC Abu Faysal said the shootout took place at Munshirhat College Road area of the upazila early hours.
RAB recovered a foreign gun with bullets and a huge number of Yaba pills from the scene.
