Launch services on Shimulia-Kathalbari route halted following poor navigability
Launch services on the Shimulia-Kanthalbari route was suspended from Monday morning because of poor navigability in the channel.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation's (BIWTC) Kanthalbari Ghat confirmed the problem.
The authorities halted the procedure of the launches since it got stuck on Dubochar insufficient adequate water. The crisis became immense this morning. Because of this, the service was suspended, the BIWTC sources said.
Meanwhile, people's gathering increased in speedboat as there is absolutely no other option for them.
Akhter Hossain, traffic inspector of the Kanthalbari Ghat, said they are discussing the problem with the very best officials.
