Kona reaches 10m club again
Bangladeshi musician Kona reached 10 million views on YouTube on Monday with her music video titled "Icche Gulo." The popular singer previously hit more than 10 million views three times. Two for film tracks- "Dil Dil Dil," "Ohe Shyam," and one for a music video named "Reshmi Churi."
"Icche Gulo" was released on CMV's official YouTube channel last year in April. The track penned by Sharif Al-Din was composed by Nazir Mahamud while Kona and Indian musician Akassh Sen voiced the track.
The music was done by Musfiq Litu. "Icche Gulo" is the title track of her 2017 album of the same name which was produced under the Central Music and Video, or CMV, record label.
Kona said: "The track was very beautiful and I thank Nazir and Musfiq bhai for it. I always knew the track would go very far and win the audience's hearts. The 10 million views prove that. I also want to thank CMV for publishing it beautifully and with such care."
Moreover, CMV owner SK Sahed Ali Pappu said: "We always focus more on quality than quantity and we tried that with this video too as the track was beautiful.
The audience later on gave their response to our efforts and that is a huge achievement for us," Pappu added. The music video of the track, starring model Azhar Saini & Tasnuva Tisha, was directed by AK Porag and produced by Motion Rock Entertainment.
