Kochi Khondokar is passionate about writing, directing
Kochi Khondokar needs no introduction. A man of many talents, Kochi has made a name for himself as an actor, teleplay writer and director.

A number of teleplays and drama serials starring Kochi were aired on different TV channels during Eid-ul-Azha celebrations. Besides, he also wrote and directed a teleplay for Eid named 'Maan Shonmaan Shesh', the final teleplay of his 'Maan Shonmaan' trilogy.

'Let it be acting, writing teleplays or directing I always strive to entertain the viewers. But if you ask me what I enjoy the most, my answer would be writing and directing,' said Kochi Khondokar.

When asked about his 'Maan Shonmaan' trilogy, Kochi said, 'The trilogy comprises of three messages oriented teleplays, which portray how low greedy people can fall for achieving fame. I made three teleplays as I received good feedback from viewers.' 

Maan Shonmaan Shesh starred Kochi Khondokar, Mosharraf Karim, Saju Khadem, Himi and others. 'Mosharraf Karim acted as a guest artiste in the episode,' he added.

Kochi directed TV serials like FDC and Cinema Hall got huge popularity while his 'Bangi TV' is being aired on Nagorik TV from March this year. 'Viewers always want to see atypical teleplays. They want to see productions which they can relate to. 

It is important for directors to understand what the viewers' want,' said Kochi when asked about the challenges faced by directors these days. Kochi acted in a total of 10 Eid productions which were aired on different TV channels and online platforms. ATN Bangla, Gazi TV, Nagorik TV and others have aired Eid contents starring him.

Kochi made his small screen debut with the teleplay Aynamahal directed by Mostafa Sarwar Farooki in 2003 and later acted in 'Free kick', 'Chiley Kotha', 'Oshomo Prem', 'Shorol Prem', 'Adarshalipi', 'Shokher Gari' and others.He gained acclaim for his acting in Farooki's popular teleplay Carom and its sequel.
