Kamal announces alliance with BNP sans Jukto Front
Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain announced a new political alliance with BNP excluding Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury-led Jukto Front.
The new alliance 'Jatiyo Oikya Front' was unveiled at the national press club on Saturday evening (October 13) where BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other leaders of the stakeholders were present.
Apart from the Gono Forum and BNP, the alliance includes ASM Abdur Rab-led Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) and Mahmudur Rahman Manna-led Nagorik Oikya.
Though Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury-led Jukto Front was supposed to be included in the alliance, it was excluded in the mast moment.
After a meeting the Dr Kamal in the afternoon, Badruddoza Chowdhury announced to hold a separate press briefing in his Baridhara house.
At he press briefing, Badruddoza’s son Mahi B Chowdhury said a plot is underway to destroy the Oikyo Prokriya.
