JS passes Tariff Commission (Amendment) Bill
The Bangladesh Tariff Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2020 was passed in the Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday (January 22).
The bill was passed in an amended form by the parliamentary standing committee with a view to cope the country’s trade with the increasing international trade.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi placed the bill in the House which was unanimously passed by voice votes with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Earlier, the parliamentary standing committee’s report on the Bangladesh Tariff Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was placed in the Jatiya Sangsad on January 14.
