Jacqueline to create her Hollywood debut with Women's Stories
Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez has bagged her initial Hollywood project. She'll be seen within an anthology film titled Women's Stories. Consisting of six segments, the movie will come to be directed by feminine directors from around the world and will also have an all-female cast.
Relating to a Deadline report, Jacqueline, along with transgender model Anjali Lama, might star in filmmaker Leena Yadav's segment in Women's Stories titled Sharing a Ride.
Co-produced simply by Iervolino Entertainment and non-profit production provider We Do It In concert, Women's Stories will dsicover filmmakers Maria Single Tognazzi, Lucia Puenzo and Catherine Hardwicke joining hands to direct the anthology film which aims at showcasing the tales of women from diverse walks of life. In addition, it superstars Cara Delevingne, Eva Longoria, Margherita Purchase, Marcia Gay Harden and Leonor Varela.
In a statement to Deadline, Chiara Tilesi, founder and President of We Do It Together, explained, "At We Do It Mutually, our mission is to improve and change the image of women in films and mass media, from object to subject matter. We focus on telling stories of girls, both before and behind the video camera. That is why Women Stories is so vital that you us - we have brought together woman directors, from everywhere, who collaborate and show personal reports from their own viewpoint. We are telling the stories of the heroines and their aspirations: from health personnel to moms, artists and businesswomen, to name a few." Women's Testimonies will come to be shot in Italy, India and the USA.
