J Shankar due in Dhaka on Thursday
The Indian External Affairs Minister Jay Shankar is scheduled to reach in Dhaka on Thursday for a day trip to set agendas regarding the upcoming visit of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in Bangladesh.
Shankar is scheduled to meet up Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina and his Bangladesh counterpart Dr AK Abdul Momen on Thursday, State Minister for foreign affairs Md Shahrair Alam told reporters in his office tonite.
The Indian external affair minister will probably arrive by a particular aircraft on Thursday morning and can keep Dhaka the same day, official sources said.
Modi is scheduled to reach here on March 26 to become listed on the celebration of Bangladesh’s the 50th anniversary of independence and 50 years of Bangladesh-India diplomatic relations.
The Indian prime minister is also schedule to carry bilateral ending up in his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina.
Alam said Dhaka looks forwards to Modi’s take forward the Bangladesh-India ties with some deliverables.
