It's a misconception among people that stars show tantrums
In this time around of crisis amid the pandemic, almost all of the actions including film promotions are happening on social media and stars getting adapted to the brand new trend. Just like a great many other celebs Raima Sen, too, is no exception to this. So, just how much of a social media person she actually is; we asked the versatile actress.
"I am not really a social media savvy person. I may retweet a lot of things, share my pictures on Instagram and also promote my projects, but I'm not that active as I may think. For me personally, that is enough. I believe we have to keep our personal lives to ourselves. In the event that you see closely you'll understand I don't put way too many of my own stuff social media," shared Raima during a special chat with ETimes.
As we've seen previously, many actors and celebs had a specific enigma about them, but nowadays things have changed, courtesy the rise of social media. Now, you should be accessible. Raima, too, feels the same.
"Yes, it's true. Gone will be the days when actors used to be not open about their personal lives. However now, we have to become more active on social media. Fans and followers are near to you as the digital platforms are here. Some kind of visibility is needed nowadays. So, yes, it's necessary; but additionally, there are advantages and disadvantages," added Raima.
Interestingly, gleam noticeable change in the stars aswell. It appears like social media has humanized the celebs. Those starry attitudes or tantrums are more of a distant past now.
"Yes, because stars are moody. It's understandable. They must handle so many people. Stars don't possess that much tantrums as if you see in the newcomers nowadays. Besides, it is also a misconception among people that stars show tantrums. Stars in reality don't throw tantrums, it's just persons think so.
This can be a trend or attitude or a changed notion - whatever you say - that newcomers believe in. They think it must be such as this to survive in the market - like go out with your mother along or throw your weight to be seen. But once you start your projects, you then understand, it's nothing but a nonsensical show-off because afterward you realise that it is only your work which will be recognized. We come with so several notions but start learning the actual things along the journey. You soon know the facades and learn not to take those seriously," explained Raima.
The actress was recently seen in a supernatural web series starring alongside Sanjay Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Karma Takapa, Robin Tamang and Shaylee Krishen. Raima received accolades for a stellar act in the series. She'll also make her Tamil debut with 'Agni Siragugal' which can be an action thriller.
