'It feels surreal to act with Thalapath'
Singer and actress Soundarya Nandakumar, who is known for her work in the TV soap Pagal Nilavu and the viral short film 'Yours Shamefully', has been roped in for Lokesh Kanagaraj's #Thalapathy64. Ask the actress how she landed the role, and she says, "They had approached me after seeing my portions in Yours Shamefully.
I should thank Vignesh Karthick (director of the short) for that!" While Soundarya is tight-lipped about the role she's playing in the film, she says that she's excited to be a part of the project. She says, "The script is such that almost all the characters have prominence. It's too overwhelming to stand beside Thalapathy and act.
It feels surreal to star alongside him." She is presently in Delhi for the shoot. "Lokesh sir, Vijay sir and the entire team is amazing to work with. Working with Vijay sir is vera level," she says. "Acting-wise, I've never really had goals as music has always been my top priority. With this film, I get to see how movies are actually being made."
