India stands by Bangladesh on Rohingya issue
Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar reiterated that his country has full support to Bangladesh’s efforts in resolving the Rohingya crisis.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release on Sunday (November 3).
In a recent letter written to Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, Jaishankar mentioned that the safe, speedy, and sustainable return of displaced persons to Myanmar is in the best interests of all concerned.
Dr. S Jaishankar commended Bangladesh for hosting over 1.1 million forcefully displaced Rohingyas in Cox’s Bazar district.
