Ilias Kanchan files Tk100cr defamation case against Shajahan
Film actor Ilias Kanchan has filed a Tk100cr defamation case against the former shipping minister Shajahan Khan.
Ilias Kanchan, also the founder of Nirapad Sharak Chai movement, filed the case at 1st Joint District Judge's --Utpal Bhattacharya--Court in Dhaka on Wednesday (February 12).
Ilias Kanchan's legal professional Rezaul Karim said that hearing would be held later concerning acceptance of the case.
The renowned actor has demanded Tk100 crore compensation from Shajahan to make derogatory comments on him in a programme on December 8 this past year.
