I will do at least one film in my career: Mithila
Rafiath Rashid Mithila made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. The actor- singer has never slowed her pace. She knows how to cross the speed bumps while cruising down life's lane. She is now more confident and braver than ever.
Now, for the first time ever, she has been starred in a web film. Titled 'Obosheshe Bhalobeshe', the web film is directed by Farhad Ahmed and was released on the online streaming platform Bioscope on February 25.
The actress expressed her wish to work in mainstream cinema. "I think I was born to do cinema. Every actors dream about working on big screen and I want to be on celluloid as well.
As I work full time, the wish was never fulfilled. It takes at least 40 to 50 days to complete a movie and it is really difficult to manage that time with a full-time job. However, if possible I will do at least one film in my career if the story and director is good," said one of the most stunning and multitalented actresses of the country.
Regarding her web film 'Obosheshe Bhalobeshe', she said, "Starting from camera, the web film was shot exactly how a film should be shot. The audience will find full feature film vibe watching it. There is even a song in there. We didn't rush to finish the film like we do in dramas. The film was only 35 minutes long but we took four days to finish shooting."
About her character in the film, Mithila said, "I am playing a cheerful small-town girl in the film. She has a relationship with a boy who lives in Dhaka. They both try to run away but the girl loves her father so much that it becomes difficult for her."
Mithila believes that the audience will accept the film positively. "We worked really hard for the film. I hope audience will love my character and the film as well."
