How Pakistan deceived US in Afghanistan and terrorism
Both deadly terror attacks in-may which claimed 38 lives in Kabul and Nangarhar in Afghanistan, evidently exposed the short-sightedness of the US-Taliban agreement reached in Doha in a bid to carve out Afghanistan's tranquil future.

That nobody claimed responsibility for the attacks did not get rid of the fact both heinous suicide attacks occurred despite a knowledge that the Taliban would "reduce" violence. Anybody who has watched Afghanistan carefully would know certainly that who was responsible for the attacks.

After all, there are not way too many terror outfits in your community that groom and use suicide attackers. Afghan National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib realized what he was talking about when he blamed the Taliban and its "sponsor" for the attacks.

The terror waging capability of the Taliban has been buttressed by the involvement of the Pakistan-backed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Afghanistan. Pakistan hasn't simply ditched Afghanistan, its neighbour, but also america, its ally.

There is no question that the Taliban have their roots in Pakistan and they could actually regroup there through the US invasion. But Pakistan features denied helping or protecting them -- even while the US demanded it does more to fight terrorists.

Furthermore, the arrest of Abdullah Orakzai alias Aslam Farooqi, an integral leader of the Islamic Point out in Khorasan Province (ISKP) has also brought the terror group's Pakistani connections into sharp focus, a European think-tank has said.

In a commentary titled 'Pakistan's purpose in the Kabul gurdwara attack has been proven and its mounting despondency is now starkly obvious', the European Foundation For South Asian Analyses (EFSAS) said that the new arrests by Afghan security forces related to the terror attack on a gurdwara in Kabul in March have confirmed its assessment of the involvement of ISI -- Pakistan's intelligence agency, referred to for supporting terrorism.

The UN Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team to the 1988 Sanctions Committee, which oversees sanctions on the Taliban, in its 2019 report had also acknowledged that almost 5,000 LeT fighters were active in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces alone.

The Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), meanwhile, has reportedly recently appointed commanders for as many as 12 Afghan provinces, including Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktia, Parwan, Kunduz, Ghazni, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar and Uruzgan, in line with the EFSAS report.

Aside from exposing the apology of a peace deal between your US and the Taliban, the continuing terror episodes against civilians and security forces.raises many fundamental issues and mistakes of successive All of us administrations.

The Taliban had nil to lose and with materials help and safe havens from their sponsors, there was very little pressure on them. For Pakistan as well, it had been a matter of period, although it had a lot more to lose.

But Islamabad played its cards very well and through an insurance plan of selective cooperation and managed to con the Us citizens, who had shed the plot as soon as that they had recognised the Taliban as a stakeholder.
