PCB to take final ask Bangladesh series
Amid increasing concerns of corona virus threat, Bangladesh Cricket Table (BCB) has verified that 'they are awaiting a 'final call' from the Pakistan Cricket Panel (PCB) regarding the final leg of Bangladesh's three-part tour, planned to commence on the very first of April.

The visitors are set to play a lone ODI and the second of two-meet Test series in Karachi.

The quantity of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan has increased to 21 on Friday with 16 becoming reported in Karachi where Bangladesh is scheduled to play the lone ODI and the ultimate Test.

"I talked with Nizamuddin, (BCB's Chief executive) but he will first speak to his plank and hopefully we are certain to get some clarity in the next three times," Waseem Khan, PCB leader, revealed on Saturday.

Doubts above the upcoming series primarily surfaced when Pakistan confirmed it is first circumstance of coronavirus on February 26 in Karachi after which the BCB planned 'To keep talks with PCB due to the board (BCB) isn't in favour of taking any kind of risk.' BCB leader, Nizamuddin Chowdhury as well confirmed that 'They are but to receive any word from their Pakistani counterparts about the fate of the series.' Pakistan is usually hosting the series so they'll take your choice [regarding the approaching tour of Pakistan] since it is their call. Let's wait for their decision," he explained.

The travelling advisory also have given us different views and we are very concerned about it. We are hopeful that PCB will announce their stand on the approaching tour and announce their [final] decision rapidly," he further added.

Jalal Yunus, BCB media committee chairman, too insisted they are not ready to accept any last second changes like change on venue as that would increase security considerations for the touring crew. "I do certainly not see any potential for the tour going ahead regardless if Pakistan proposed an alternative solution venue other than Karachi. BCB won't consent to a final minute venue transformation as that would increase security problems," he concluded.
