Himu returns to  theater play
Popular TV actress Homayra Himu last acted in a theatre play titled 'Khanchar Bhitor Ochin Pakhi' directed by Jamal Uddin Hossain, more than one decade ago. It was happened in 2008. She acted on the stage in that play under the banner of Nagorik Natyangan Ensemble. Later, she did not see to act in any theatre play. After break of 10 years, she is expected again to return to the theatre play.  

While talking in this regard, Homayra Himu said, "In fact, I was so engaged with acting in TV plays and serials I could not give time to theatre play. Now in TV play, I have reached into a stable position. I can manage time by own way, so I am thinking to return to theatre play now.

It is really difficult to express in a word that what type of liking I have about theatre plays. For this reason, within short time I will attach with a theatre group. In this case, I want to attach with either Dhaka Theatre or Prachyanat. I am expecting everybody's co-operation in this regard."

Meanwhile, Himu on Thursday started shooting of Sayeed Tareq's drama serial 'Life Partner' at Priyanka Shooting House in the capital.  Therefore, Himu is acting in two ongoing drama serials - 'Bokulpur' and 'Chhayabibi'. She played in an important role in Morshedul Islam's movie 'Aamar Bondhu Rashed'. She has also keen interest to work in big screen.

Five years ago, Himu produced a play titled 'Bhalobashi Othoba Bashi Bhalo'. She also wants to give direction. Today is her birthday. While talking in this regard Himu said, "On my birthday, I have shooting schedule of serial 'Bokulpur'. So, I will celebrate the day on the shooting spot."
