Hefazat announces new central committee
Hefazat-e-Islam announced its new convening committee early hours on Monday, hours after dissolution the central committee.
Allama Nurul Islam, secretary general of the brand new committee, made the announcement through a Facebook video at 4:30am.
He said, "Taking into consideration the present unstable situation, the five-member committee has been announced."
Chief advisor of the convening committee is Allama Muhibullah Babunagri, Amir Junayed Babunagari and its own secretary general Allama Nurul Islam. Two other members of the brand new committees are Salauddin Nanupuri and Prof Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury.
Previously Sunday night, the central committee of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has been dissolved.
Its ameer Junaid Babunagari developed the announcement in a video message from Hathazari madrasa in Chattogram at 11.00pm.
