Govt to create more opportunities for youth: FM Momen
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen on Saturday said that the incumbent government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has huge achievements in the last 10 years and it will create more opportunities for the young generation in future.
"The age of around 49 percent people of our country is less than 25 years. If we can provide proper education and training, we will get a skilled and talented generation. Our government is working to provide proper education to all," he said.
He came up with the remarks while addressing as the chief guest at a program held at Sirajul Islam Lecture hall of Lecture Theater Building of Dhaka University (DU).
Bangladesh Supply Chain Council (BSCC) in association with DU organized the program as a part of their supply chain conference and career opportunity program.
The foreign minister Abdul Momen said, unemployment problem ratio is less among the people who passed high school, but its rate is high among graduates or post graduates. We are working to empower the all people in near future.
Presided over by M NayeemHossain, President of Bangladesh Supply Chain Council (BSCC), Prof Dr. AtiurRahman, Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Professor ShibliRubayatUl Islam, Dean of Faculty of Business Studies of DU among others addressed the program.
