Development from grass-roots level in future: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her government will put emphasis on development at grass-roots level in days to come.
Sheikh Hasina said, “There is no going back from where we’ve progressed so far. The government aims to implement major projects in next five years which were formulated over the last two terms.”
The premier made the statements while exchanging views with officials and employees of the Armed Forces Division held at Multipurpose Hall on Sunday (January 13).
PM's press secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the programme.
Mentioning current poverty level in the country at 21.8 percent, she said another 5 percent will be brought down in the coming days.
