Govt to build 64,000 houses for homeless people
State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Enamur Rahman Sunday said the government planned to build 64,000 houses for homeless people in all the 64 districts.
“There will be no homeless people in the country as the government has taken a scheme to initially build 64,000 houses in 64 districts for the homeless people,” he said while addressing a reception as the chief guest at City University located at Birulia, Savar, outskirts of the capital.
Rahman said warm clothes were being distributed among the people in need across the country under the auspices of his ministry.
He said strict orders were issued against any irregularity regarding the distribution.
