Former Chief Whip Abdus Shahid MP tests coronavirus positive
Former Chief Whip and Member of Parliament (MP) from Moulvibazar-4 (Srimangal-Kamalganj) constituency of Jatiya Sangsad Md Abdus Shahid tested great for COVID-19 about Tuesday.
He was admitted to Sheikh Russel Gastro Liver Institute and Hospital on Monday night with shortness of breath.
Shahid said that he was admitted to the hospital at around 10:00pm and received the COVID-19 check report at around 7:00pm Tuesday.
The 72-year-old lawmaker of Moulvibazar-4 constituency said that the other members of his family were okay but his personal secretary recently recovered from COVID-19.
