Fizz permitted to play in IPL
Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been offered a Zero Objection Certificate (NOC) to play on the upcoming Indian Premier League, said a Bangladesh Cricket Board official on the subject of Saturday.
“We have presented him NOC for IPL as he's not in our Test arrange for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka,” BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin told The Daily Sun.
The IPL franchise - Rajasthan Royals earlier picked Mustafizur at his base price of Rs 1 crore through the IPL players’ auction.
BCB had earlier provided NOC to Shakib Al Hasan to be a part of the tournament not before appearing in a discomfort situation after the all-rounder asked them for NOC.
Mustafizur before insisted that he was ready to skip IPL if he's chosen to play against Sri Lanka.
BCB had earlier as well revealed plans to permit Bangladesh players to take part in only two franchise-based T20 tournaments each year.
However, the board eventually moved on from that stand and allowed Shakib with NOC to take part in the IPL, at the trouble of national duty.
