FIR against Bollywood actor for flouting Covid norm
The BMC's K west ward on Mon has filed an FIR against model and actor Gauhar Khan for flouting covid-19 protocol. Civic officials explained that despite testing positive for the virus she experienced stepped out for film capturing.Assistant municipal commissioner of K west ward Vishwas Mote said,"Our staff had visited Khan's home about March 11 and she gave an undertaking that she'd not step beyond your house.
However not surprisingly we received a complaint that she was active putting her and others life in peril. Our personnel reached her house on Sunday night time and initially were informed by her partner that she actually is not at home and in a flat in the adjacent wing. We made a decision to file a police complaint accordingly." Mote as well added that Khan has now been asked to go into institutional quarantine while her risky contacts have already been asked to quarantine themselves also.
Mumbai police spokesperson, DCP S Chaitanya declined to divulge the brand of the individual whose name was described in the FIR. He explained the Oshiwara law enforcement has registered a case under the Indian Penal Code sections 188 (Disobedience to buy duly promulgated by open public servant), 269 (Negligent work likely to spread infections of disease riskous to life), 270 (Malignant act likely to spread illness of disease riskous alive) and under 51B of the NDMA Act, 3 of Epidemic Diseases Take action, on complaint of a BMC established, against somebody who tested Covid confident but didn't stay in quarantine and instead went for film shooting.
The BMC tweeting a comparable from its official Twitter handle @mybmc said, "No Compromise On City's Protection! BMC features filed an FIR against a Bollywood actor for non-compliance to COVID19 rules on testing confident. The rules apply to all as well and we urge residents to follow all guidelines and help the city beat the virus."
