Author documents copyright infringement case against Kangana Ranaut
An FIR has been lodged against actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for copyright infringement amounting to a criminal breach of trust by writer Ashish Kaul at Khar law enforcement station on Friday evening.Ashish Kaul has claimed that he has the sole copyright of the biography over 'Didda: The Warrior Queen' and alleged that Kangana Ranaut has stolen his storyline.

He said he was surprised to hear the announcement from Kangana Ranaut about the film. He possibly sent a find to Kangana and producer Kamal Jain, however, didn't receive any response for the same and for that reason had to way the court which directed the authorities to lodge a circumstance.

Speaking about the case, Kaul said, "Today, I embark after a fresh journey of my entire life - a voyage against white-collar criminal offense, against blatant and brazen infringement of my own intellectual property and pertaining to justice. After seeking my best to find various police stations, I have located prior to the Hon'ble Metropolitan Magistrate, Bandra, my program Under Section 156(3) of CrPC, 1973 searching for path to the Mumbai Law enforcement to join up FIR against the accused individuals/entity namely Ms. Kangana Ranaut, Mr. Kamal Kumar Jain, Ms. Rangoli Chandel and Manikarnika Films Personal Small for infringement of the copyright which sums to criminal breach of trust, cheating,

cheating with understanding that wrongful loss may ensue to the individual whose interest offender is bound to protect along with cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of house, punishable under Section 406, 415, 418, 34, 120 B And 420 of the Indian Penal Code examine with Section 51, 63, 63A and other provision of The Copyright Action, 1957 AND Section 65 of the info Technology Act, 2000."
