Electrical goods export jump
Exports of electrical merchandise rose 42.34 per cent year-on-year to $41.93 million in the July to January amount of the current fiscal year, in a testament to Bangladesh's growing prowess in the technological sector.
The export receipts were $29.34 million through the same period this past year, data from the Export Advertising Bureaus showed.
Industry persons credited the initiatives of business owners and continuous advancement of products for supporting the united states widen its export basket.

Bangladesh exports electrical products such as cables, distribution boards, transformers, switch gears, cables, insulators, fans, warmth and speed control devices, magnetic contractors, switches, and irons.
Other export-oriented products include tube lights, filament bulbs, mild fittings, lamps, water heaters, torch lighting, and lift equipment.
