Dr Kamal urges people to guard polling stations
Jatiya Oikyafront chief Dr Kamal Hossain on Saturday urged the country people to guard the polling stations so that the parliamentary elections on December 30 are held in a free and fair manner.
Dr Kamal Hossain, also Gono Forum president, made the call when he was addressing a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club in the afternoon.
He said, "As the owner of the state, people must guard the polling stations so that the elections are held in a credible manner," reports UNB.
"People will have to save the election process unitedly. We all must remain alert to see whether anyone is creating any obstacle to the voting process," he added.
Dr Kamal urged the people of the country to go to the polling stations in the morning on the election day and make sure all can cast their votes without any hindrance.
