Recently popular film duo Babbip Chowdhury and Bidya Sinha Saha Mim's 'Daag Hridoye', a romantic film directed by Terak Sikder, has been released countrywide. Featuring a story of love triangle, the film was waiting for a long time to get released. Finally the film released on February 8 on the celebration of Valentine's Day.
The film, besides Bappi and Mim, also features Achol in the central role. Popular actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim recently talked to the media regarding the film, her career and the present situation of Bangladeshi film industry.
In this film, Mim appeared as a painter. Regarding the film's story this actress said, "We finished shooting of 'Daag Hridoye' a long time ago. I feel great that the film has been released. The story of the movie is really unique. When I read the script, I was really touched by the story.
I can say that the story is the surprise of this film. For the first time me and Achol have worked together in this movie. We all spent some really good time during shooting. I believe the audience will love the movie." "We all worked really hard for the movie. Even I had an accident where I got seriously injured. If people love the movie, all the pain and hard work will be successful," she added.
There was a rumor that Mim was not active during the promotion of the movie. To counter that allegation, Mim said, "This is not true. I have promoted the movie during several interviews and to the media. Why would I be silent about the film I acted?"
Mim is currently busy with several web series and some fear this would be harmful for her career. "Web series are now made with cinematic look. The story and the making of these web series are just like feature films, so, I think web series will not hamper but will be helpful for my career. We see plenty of Bollywood and Hollywood actors doing web series. These web series are not for free, you have to pay to watch it.
The only difference is these web series are not getting released in cinema theaters. Everything is now changing in the era of technology so we should do the same." There was a buzz in the industry that Mim is getting married. Regarding the issue, the Lux Channel i Superstar said, "I don't know who is spreading the rumor. When I will get married I will inform everyone. There is nothing to keep it secret. I will request everyone that don't take these rumors seriously and go to cinema halls to watch my film."
