DMC admin officer Rashedul dies of Covid-19
Dhaka Medical College (DMC) administrative officer Rashedul Islam died on Tuesday after an extended struggle with deadly coronavirus.
Rashedul breathed his previous around 6pm even while undergoing treatment in the ICU of the DMC’s corona device, said Dr Alauddin Al Azad, the deputy director of the hospital.
He said Rashedul was admitted to a healthcare facility on October 30 and shifted to the ICU eight days and nights back as his state worsened.
The DMC administrative officer was placed on lifestyle support on Sunday as his condition deteriorated even more, Azad said.
Days after dealing with malignancy, he said Rashedul was infected with the coronavirus.
Hailing from Dinajpur, Rashedul left behind wife and one child to mourn his loss of life.
Azad said Rashedul’s wife, Arjina, as well contracted Covid-19 and beat the virus a good few days back.
Meanwhile, the united states on Tuesday recorded 2,230 more latest corona cases, acquiring the total tally to 451,990.
Through the period, 32 even more patients died from Covid-19 which put the total death toll at 6,448.
The death count stood at 1.43 percent, said the Directorate Standard of Health Services (DGHS).
