Daikin launches ACs together with Transcom Electronics
Japanese air-conditioner maker Daikin has rolled out a bunch of inverter and non-inverter split air-conditioning devices in Bangladesh in partnership with Transcom Electronics Ltd.
The global leader in air-conditioning, Daikin launched nine models, targeted for each consumer segment, as it looks to increase and serve the area air-conditioner business. All nine styles are locally assembled, regarding to a news release.

"We started assembling this past year and brought the merchandise to the marketplace. We didn't launch officially because of the pandemic," Azad said.
Relating to him, importers had to pay 211 % customs duty previously, even while local assembly brought it right down to 40 per cent.
