Covid-19 negative certificates: 33 Bangladeshis returning from India quarantined
Thirty-three Bangladeshis, who returned from India through Benapole border Friday nights, were sent to institutional quarantine Saturday as they did not have Covid-19 negative certificates.

Benapole Port Immigration Medical Official Sumon Sen said 342 Bangladeshis returned from India and 33 of these were delivered to Jashore Standard Hospital for quarantine for not having Covid-19 certificate.

“All are cancer and heart patients. That they had experienced India for medical treatment for days gone by two . 5 months.”

“These patients can also go back to their residence if indeed they want to go for home quarantine,” Sumon said.

Immigration options said the federal government made Covid-19 negative certificates essential from December 1 for anybody approaching to Bangladesh from India.
