Covid-19: Mexico deaths surpass 30,000
Mexico's death toll from the brand new coronavirus rose to 30,366 on Saturday, propelling it past France to be the country with the fifth-highest number of fatalities found in the global pandemic, according to the health ministry.
"Currently, 30,366 people who had tested positive for Covid-19 on the laboratory possess died," Jose Luis Alomia, countrywide director of the Division of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Wellness, told a press conference.
The US remains the hardest-hit country in the world, accompanied by Brazil, Britain and Italy, according to an AFP tally of official figures. - AFP
