COVID survivor Lily Chakraborty on the value of proper diet
It's been a month since actress Lily Chakraborty returned from a healthcare facility. The veteran actress tested positive on January 21 and was taken to a healthcare facility thereafter. The actress confirmed she actually is far better now. "I am keeping well now. Recently, I did a blood test again and the results were satisfactory.

Only the sugar level (after fasting) is on the bigger side but the doctor said it will be fine with medication. I am also a COPD ( Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) patient, where I have to regularly do chest X-Ray to see whether there is any obstruction. However the last report has been satisfactory. I am thankful to the doctors, who took care of me when I was in a healthcare facility," said the actress.

She further added, "I was feeling very weak post COVID, so my doctor suggested that I should start doing yoga. I am much fitter now. I am having a high protein diet as prescribed by my doctor. Having a proper diet is important assuming you have survived COVID. For breakfast, I have bread, a boiled egg, and seasonal fruits. For lunch, I eat little rice with two bits of fish and during the night I have chicken stew."
