Country's virus toll jumps to 269 with 19 new deaths
Bangladesh recorded highest single-day deaths of 19 patients, taking the full total number to 269.
Meanwhile, 1,162 tested positive for the virus infection which is also the best number of infected cases per day.
Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana confirmed the figure in its daily online health bulletin on Wednesday.
A complete of 17,822 coronavirus patients were detected in Bangladesh till today.
A total of 7,900 samples were tested in 41 labs in the united states, Dr Nasima added.
