26 corona patients recover in Khulna division
A complete of 26 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khulna division as the number of infected cases are continuing in sharp rise.
Health officials said eight more coronavirus patients recovered and 10 more tested positive for the virus in last 24 hours at 10 districts of the division.
“The full total number of coronavirus patients rose to 212 with detection of 10 more positive cases after testing 172 samples at KMC and the remaining one at Kushtia laboratory,” Assistant Director (Health) for Khulna division Dr Ferdousi Akther told the daily observer on Monday.
The newly infected one in Khulna, one in Bagerhat, two each in Jhenaidah, Magura, Kustia and Chuadanga districts.
Up to now, 51 patients are undergoing treatment at the isolation ward, 26 were released after recovery and the rest are taking treatment at their respective homes.
“The five patients died in the division, which, two are in Khulna, one each of Bagerhat, Chuadanga and Meherpur districts,” she added.
Meanwhile, among the full total 26 recovered coronavirus patients, six are hailing from Khulna, two from Bagerhat , five in Jashore, three from Magura, one from Narail, eight from Kustia and one from Chuadanga districts.
