Country reports 15 more deaths, 1,600 coronavirus cases
With the death of 15 more patients from COVID-19, the full total number of fatalities reached 5,608 in Bangladesh on Thursday.
In the last 24 hours, 1,600 more virus-infected patients were detected, raising the number of positive cases to 3,84,559.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the problem through a news release signed by Prof Dr. Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, this afternoon.
Some 1,780 more patients were declared clear of the virus during the past 24 hours, taking the full total number of recovered cases to 2,90,229.
During this period, in 109 laboratories in the united states, total of 14,104 samples were tested.
