Coronavirus: Global deaths top 3.4 lakh, cases pass 53 lakh
The coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has climbed to 340,072 worldwide till Saturday noon (May 23, Bangladesh Time).
A complete of 53,06,928 persons have already been infected and 21,60,530 persons have recovered worldwide from the condition, according to latest data from worldometer.
A complete of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have already been infected in the deadly disease.
In USA, 16,45,353 people have been infected in the condition. Of these, 97,655 people have died and 4,03,228 persons have recovered.
In UK, 2,54,195 persons have already been infected from coronavirus. Of these, 36,393 patients have died.
In Italy, 228,658 people have already been infected in the disease. Of these, 32,616 persons have died and 136,720 persons have recovered.
In Spain, 2,81,904 people have already been infected in the condition. Of these, 28,628 have died and 196,958 persons have recovered.
In France, 1,82,219 persons have already been infected in the condition. Of these, 28,289 patients have died and 64,209 patients have recovered.
In Brazil, 3,32,382 persons have already been infected in the disease. Of these, 21,116 people have died and 1,35,430 have recovered.
In Germany, 1,79,713 people have already been infected in the condition. Of these, 8,352 persons have died and 1,59,000 have recovered.
In Iran, 131,652 persons have already been infected in the coronavirus. Of these, 7,300 patients have died and 102,276 people have recovered from the condition.
In China, 82,971 people have been infected in the condition. Of these, 4,634 persons have died and 78,258 have recovered.
In Russia, 3,26,448 people have already been infected in the condition. Of these, 3,249 have died and 2,23,374 have recovered.
In Canada, 82,480 people have already been infected from the condition. Of these, 6,250 persons have died and 42,594 have recovered.
In India, 125,149 persons have been influenced with coronavirus. Of them, 3,728 persons have died and 51,824 persons have recovered from the disease.
In Bangladesh, 30,205 persons have already been infected with coronavirus, Of these, 432 persons died and 6,190 patients have recovered.
The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
