Coronavirus death toll climbs to 386, positive cases 26,738
Bangladesh recorded 1617 more new coronavirus cases in last a day, raising the total number to 26,738.
Besides, 16 patients died during this time period from the virus infection, Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana confirmed the figure in a daily online bulletin on Wednesday.
Total 386 patients of COVID-19 died till today. Of the dead, 13 were male and three were female.
In the past a day, 43 coronavirus testing lab in the united states tested 10,207 samples, she added.
Meanwhile, 214 COVID-19 patients have recovered till today. The full total number of recovered patients now stood at 5,207, the DGHS official added.
