Coronavirus: 366 Bangladeshis return home from Saudi Arabia
A complete of 366 Bangladeshis returned home tonight (April 15) amid flight restrictions forced by the coronavirus outbreak.
A chartered Saudi Airlines flight carrying 234 of the Bangladeshi returnees imprisoned at the Saudi Detention Centre, and the other 132 were Umrah pilgrims, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal AIRPORT TERMINAL around 9:15pm.
Airport authority sources confirmed the matter to media.
Meanwhile, coronavirus up to now infected 1,231 persons and killed 50 persons in Bangladesh.
Globally, the disease has infected over 2,000,000 people and killed 127,000 people.
